Conditions of Sale

1. Definitions

1.1 “Best Rest Beds” means Save A Lot Beds Pty Ltd trading as “Best Rest Beds”, or its successors and assigns any person acting on its behalf.

1.2 “Customer” means the person/s (jointly & severally) or any person acting on behalf of and with the authority of the Customer requesting Best Rest Beds to provide Goods as specified in any quote or invoice.

1.3 “Goods” means all Goods or Services supplied by Best Rest Beds to the Customer.

1.4 “Price” means the Price payable (plus any GST where applicable) for Goods.

1.5 “GST” means Goods & Services Tax as defined within “A New Tax System (Goods & Services Tax) Act 1999” (Cth).

2. Payment

2.1 Customer agrees to make payment in full before Goods are delivered or picked up.

2.2 Minimum of 50% deposit for orders.

2.3 Layby terms are 10% at order with 10% deposit per fortnight.

2.4 We accept payment via; cash, eftpos, credit card, direct bank credit, Paypal, Afterpay and Latitude Pay.

2.5 Interest on unpaid invoices shall accrue daily at the rate of 2% per month, compounding, from the overdue date.

3. Delivery

3.1 Delivery and or removal fee is additional to the Price and will be quoted either at time of sale or within 48 hours after sale.

3.2 If Goods are in stock, we will attempt to send your Goods within 48 hours.

3.3 Interstate delivery may take up to 2 weeks if in stock, depending on delivery location.

3.4 If Goods are not in stock, we will let you know the approximate delivery time frame with 48 hours after the sale.

3.5 Standard delivery is to the front door only. Delivery time is only an estimate, however both the Customer and delivery contractor agree that they shall make every endeavor to enable delivery to occur.

3.6 Extra fees apply for delivery of Goods inside the house, upstairs, to set up and removal of Goods. We do not accept any responsibility for damages caused by delivery contractors to the Customer or their personal property.

3.7 If the Customer is not home at the agreed delivery time, a reasonable redelivery and storage fee apply.

4. Warranty

4.1 What is included; structural and construction of mattress, sagging over 5cm.

4.2 What is not included; fabric and stitching including but not limited to stains, soiling, burns, tears. Damage from abuse. Poor or damaged base or bed foundations.  Slat base with gap greater than 6cm apart, or thickness less than 35mm, slats that are not covered with material. Other Goods purchased that are not damaged.  Body impressions.

Body impressions are normal and may occur in the top comfort/upholstery layer of a mattress, these can be reduced by weekly turning and flipping of the mattress in the first month and every three months thereafter.

5. Refunds & Returns

5.1 We may at our absolute discretion swap or refund non-defective Goods, subject to;

a. Customer must be the original purchaser and provide proof of purchase (invoice and receipt) from Best Rest Beds,

b. Goods returned are in original condition and are in suitable protective packaging,

c. Handling fee of up to ten percent (10%) of the value of the returned Goods plus any freight costs.

5.2 No refund for wrong size or change of mind, "as is" sales. No refund for variances in fabric or stitching colours from those on display in our showroom or website. No refund for custom made Goods. No refund for worn or damaged Goods (after delivery), attempts to bend, alter or modify Goods, used for purpose other than designed, incorrect storage, continued use after any defect became apparent.

5.3 Notwithstanding anything contained in this condition, if Best Rest Beds is required by a law to accept a return then Best Rest Beds will only accept a return on the conditions imposed by that law.

6. Cancellation

6.1 Cancellation of orders for Goods made to the Customer specifications, or for non-stock list items, will definitely not be accepted once production has commenced.

6.2 In the event that the Customer cancels delivery of Goods the Customer shall be liable for any and all loss incurred (whether direct or indirect) by Best Rest Beds.

7. General

7.1 Display on the website does not guarantee the availability of any particular Goods; therefore, all orders placed through the website shall be subject to confirmation of acceptance by Best Rest Beds.

7.2 On-line ordering may be unavailable from time to time for regularly scheduled maintenance and/or upgrades.

7.3 The failure by either party to enforce any provision of these conditions shall not be treated as a waiver of that provision, nor shall it affect that party’s right to subsequently enforce that provision. If any provision of these conditions shall be invalid, void, illegal or unenforceable the validity, existence, legality and enforceability of the remaining provisions shall not be affected or impaired.

7.4 Recommend to rotate and or flip mattress within first 3 months, then 6 monthly thereafter.
